De eenstaps-dipsticktest kan op elk moment in de zwangerschap en zelfs bij aanwezigheid van bloed worden gebruikt. Testresultaten zijn binnen 5 minuten aan het bed beschikbaar.
Het Actim 1ngeni-instrument kan worden gebruikt om testresultaten digitaal te interpreteren. Aangezien Actim 1ngeni de testresultaten automatisch opslaat en interpreteert, wordt de traceerbaarheid van de gegevens verbeterd en kan er meer tijd aan patiëntenzorg worden besteed.
