Afinion™ 2 分析儀可靠地向醫院資訊系統 (HIS) 或實驗室資訊系統 (LIS) 傳輸檢測資訊。Afinion™ 2 分析儀透過 TCP/IP 網路、使用按可選配置的 POCT1-A、HL7、ASTM 1381-85（低級）或 ASTM 1394-97（高級）通訊協定自動傳輸患者及品質管控結果。
本分析儀及檢測盒設計精密，每個檢測盒均配有整合式採樣裝置以及單次檢測的全部所需試劑。
Afinion™ 2 分析儀採用整合式錯誤偵測及自檢系統，可杜絕錯誤的結果。
每部 Afinion™ 2 分析儀均採固定原廠校準。每批 Afinion™ 檢測均包含儲存在條碼標籤中的校準資料。可由整合式攝影機讀取批次校準資料並用於校準結果。
