Neljännen sukupolven Determine™ HIV Early Detect -testi tunnistaa enemmän akuutteja infektioita aiemman sukupolven testeihin verrattuna. Tämä auttaa lyhentämään aikaa tartunnan ja sen havaitsemisen välillä, mikä tehostaa tapausten tunnistamista infektion ollessa hyvin tartuntavaarallisessa vaiheessa.
Determine™ HIV Early Detect tuottaa tarkan tuloksen jo 20 minuutissa. Näyte voi olla sormenpäästä otettua kokoverta, laskimosta otettua kokoverta tai seerumia/plasmaa.
