Global point of care
With i-STAT G3+, healthcare professionals can obtain blood gases in approximately two minutes at the bedside, allowing care teams to accelerate patient-care decisions. The G3+ i-STAT test cartridge includes pH, PCO2, PO2, TCO2, HCO3, base excess (BE), and sO2.
The use of point-of-care tests such as the i-STAT G3+ cartridge can be included in the continuum of care to help promote quality care for patients.

The i-STAT G3+ cartridge with the i-STAT 1 System is intended for use in the in vitro quantification of pH, oxygen partial pressure, and carbon dioxide partial pressure in arterial, venous or capillary whole blood.
pH, PO2, and PCO2 measurements are used in the diagnosis, monitoring, and treatment of respiratory disturbances and metabolic and respiratory-based acid-base disturbances. Bicarbonate is used in the diagnosis and treatment of numerous potentially serious disorders associated with changes in body acid-base balance.
