Paul Collinson is a distinguished figure in the realm of pathology and biomarker expertise. With an illustrious career spanning decades, Prof. Collinson has emerged as a leading authority in his field of biomarkers, renowned for his groundbreaking research and invaluable contributions to diagnostics in health care. Dr Collinson was consultant chemical pathologist at St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and is now Professor at St George’s University of London and actively engaged in research in the biomarker field.
Prof. Christian Mueller
Professor of Cardiology, Faculty of Medicine Director of the Cardiovascular Research Institute Basel (CRIB) University Hospital Basel, Switzerland
Prof. Mueller established his own research group at Basel University Hospital in 2000 with the support of the Swiss National Science Foundation and the Swiss Heart Foundation. His research aims to improve early diagnosis and management of cardiovascular disorders, particularly heart failure and myocardial infarction. Dr. Mueller is co-founder and director of the Cardiovascular Research Institute Basel (CRIB), member of several ESC experts committees, president of the GREAT network, and associate editor for the European Heart Journal. he has authored more than 1000 peer-reviewed publications.
Prof Richard Body
Professor of Emergency Medicine; Director of Research & Innovation at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust
Rick Body works as an Honorary Consultant & Group Director of Research & Innovation at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. He is Deputy National Specialty Lead for Trauma & Emergency Care at the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Clinical Research Network, Deputy Editor at the Emergency Medicine Journal, and a member of the International Federation for Clinical Chemistry Committee for Clinical Applications of Cardiac Biomarkers. His main area of research interest is in diagnostics, particularly applied to acute coronary syndromes. He has developed and validated several early rule-out pathways for acute myocardial infarction that are in widespread practice.
