Dr. Jayant Kalpoe
Dr. Jayant Kalpoe combineert zijn functie als arts-microbioloog in Haarlem met een ondersteunende functie in Paramaribo (Suriname) en Aruba. Zijn huidige expertise betreft de toepassing en implementatie van geautomatiseerde UVC-desinfectietechnologieën in zorginstellingen in Nederland en Suriname. Hij bestudeerde ook nieuwe technologieën om gedecentraliseerde (point of care) diagnostiek van infectieziekten te vergemakkelijken.
Dr. Michiel van Rijn
Dr. Michiel van Rijn is een ervaren arts-microbioloog en werkt sinds 2005 in het Ikazia Ziekenhuis in Rotterdam. Hij specialiseerde zich als voorzitter van de medische staf in ziekenhuis- en gezondheidszorgmanagement en bouwde expertise op in infectiepreventie, epidemiologie, gezondheidszorgmanagement, klinisch onderzoek en medisch onderwijs.
Dr. Kitty Linssen
Dr. Catharina (Kitty) Linssen studeerde geneeskunde in Maastricht, waarna zij in 2000 de opleiding tot arts-microbioloog in het MUMC+ afrondde. Ze deed onderzoek naar de waarde van snelle diagnostiek voor luchtwegpathogenen bij patiënten op de intensive care, wat leidde tot een doctoraat in 2007. Momenteel werkt zij als arts-microbioloog in het Zuyderland Medisch Centrum met een specifieke focus op moleculaire diagnostiek.
