With the i-STAT G3+ cartridge, respiratory therapists and nurses can obtain blood gases in approximately two minutes at the bedside, allowing care teams to accelerate
patient-care decisions. The i-STAT G3+ cartridge includes pH, PCO2, PO2, TCO2, HCO3, base excess (BE), and sO2.
The i-STAT G3+ cartridge is a dedicated blood gas only cartridge that can be used to rapidly assess acid-base disturbances and oxygenation status in critical care settings.

The i-STAT G3+ cartridge with the i-STAT 1 System is intended for use in the in vitro quantification of pH, partial pressure of oxygen (PO2) and partial pressure of carbon dioxide (PCO2) in arterial, venous or capillary whole blood in point of care or clinical laboratory settings.
pH, PO2, and PCO2 measurements are used in the diagnosis, monitoring, and treatment of respiratory, metabolic and acid-base disturbances.
